A clear boundary

Not mental health advice.

Last reviewed: 13 July 2026

Life in Tabs shares journaling prompts, practical reflections, realistic routines and simple organisation ideas from personal experience. This page explains what that content can and cannot do.

What this content is

The articles, prompts, printables and email notes are for general information, personal reflection and everyday organisation. They may help you pause, put thoughts on paper or decide what feels useful to look at next.

Everyone’s circumstances are different. A suggestion that feels useful to one person may not be suitable for another, and using a prompt does not guarantee a particular result.

What this content is not

Life in Tabs is not a medical, mental health or therapy service. Nothing on this site is a diagnosis, clinical assessment, treatment plan, medical advice or substitute for qualified professional support. No professional relationship is created by reading the site, downloading a resource, joining an email list or contacting Life in Tabs.

Life in Tabs is not an emergency or crisis service, and the contact email is not monitored as an urgent support line.

Use your judgement

Choose only what feels appropriate for you. You can leave a prompt unfinished, skip a question or stop using a resource at any time. If a prompt increases distress, makes you feel unsafe or brings up something you are not ready to handle alone, stop and seek appropriate support.

Please do not use this site or email Life in Tabs for urgent medical, mental health or safety concerns.

If you need help now

If you are in England and need urgent mental health help, call NHS 111 and select the mental health option, or use NHS 111 online. If someone’s life is at risk or you do not feel able to keep yourself or someone else safe, call 999 or go to A&E. The NHS urgent mental health guidance explains these options.

If you are elsewhere, contact your local emergency service, urgent-care provider or crisis service.
