The Life in Tabs Method

Organise your life one tab at a time.

You do not need to fix your whole life today. The method helps you see what is going on, give it somewhere to live and choose what needs your attention next.

Six steps, used as lightly as you need

1. Clear your open tabs

Capture what is taking up space in your mind.

2. Sort your tabs

Group the noise into the life areas it belongs to.

3. Choose one small reset

Pick one small action that reduces the pressure.

4. Give it a home

Put useful thoughts and plans somewhere you can find again.

5. Create your weekly rhythm

Notice what needs attention without fixing everything at once.

6. Look a little further ahead

Turn the tabs that matter into realistic priorities.

On a low-energy day, the method can stop after step one: write the tabs down. You can sort or act on them when you have more room.

Paper meets practical

Write the noise down. Give the useful parts somewhere to live.

A notebook can hold the honest first thoughts. A simple digital home can keep the useful plans and reminders visible and easier to return to.
