What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files or similar identifiers stored on, or accessed from, your device when you visit a website. They can be used to remember choices, operate a service, measure use or track activity.

What this site uses

At the date above, the Life in Tabs site does not intentionally set advertising, social-media or personalisation cookies. The site’s own forms and pages do not require cookies to work.

We use two Vercel services:

Vercel Web Analytics records general page-view information so we can understand traffic in aggregate. Vercel says this service does not use cookies or store personal identifiers that track visitors across websites. It uses a short-lived hash created from the request instead.
Vercel Speed Insights measures real-world website performance, such as loading, responsiveness and visual stability, so we can improve the site.

These services may receive information such as the page visited, referrer, approximate location, device type, browser, operating system and timestamp. We do not send your email address to these analytics services as a custom event.

Cookies from other websites

Links to Instagram, email providers, Vercel, Resend and other external websites may lead to services that use their own cookies or similar technologies. Life in Tabs does not control those technologies. Please check the relevant provider’s privacy or cookie information before using an external service.

Managing cookies

You can use your browser settings to delete or block cookies and to ask before cookies are stored. Because the current site does not rely on cookies for its core functions, blocking cookies should not prevent you from reading the site or using its forms, although external websites may work differently.

If we introduce any non-essential cookies or similar technologies, we will update this policy and provide the required information and consent choice before using them where the law requires it.
